Packaging Robot
Ascentiv created a touch screen based PC software to manage and control a specialized industrial packaging robot. The .NET based software recognized items from a picture taken of an assembly line, and controlled the dedicated real-time motion system accordingly. 

Software Inventory
Varian is a leading manufacturer for medical devices and software in the field of oncology. In close corporation with the customer, Ascentiv designed and realized a software solution to retrieve all the installed applications, devices and systems of an entire site and put it into an inventory.

Reporting Framework
For Siemens Building Technology's building automation system DESIGO INSIGHT, we developed a reporting system which allows to define and execute complex queries on multiple kinds of data sources. Apart of an alarm and log data source, a process data source was also implemented. This allows to execute queries on process data from process devices. In addition to interactive reporting, the generation of PDF reports is also supported.

Cable Modem Provisioning
Cablecom required a scaled down solution of a cable modem provisioning system. Ascentiv delivered a web based system which interfaced with the existing network infrastructure in order to configure and manage cable modems automatically.

Historical Data Access Server (OPC HDA)
"OLE for Process Control" is an industry wide software interface specification. Ascentiv developed the architecture, and designed and implemented a sophisticated COM server which completely fulfilled the OPC HDA specification and was capable of storing 100's of millions of historical HVAC specific data items.
